The designer
GP Creatives is a custom label specialising in bridal designed and made by Gabrielle Pagano with her small team in Sydney’s South.
After obtaining a Bachelor with Honours in Fashion and Textiles & Diploma of Innovation from the prestigious University of Technology Sydney, and working in the Bridal Industry as a stylist, design assistant and production coordinator, Gabrielle now primarily works one-to-one with clients to bring their special occasion wear to life.
Known for her innovative textile application and flattering feminine cutwork, Gabrielle thrives in re-contextualising techniques traditionally used in bridal wear to create one of a kind pieces that more closely resemble contemporary womenswear.
The process
Our process begins with a private design consult in our Gymea Bay studio where we explore different ideas together. Gabrielle will prepare a mood board and propose different design ideas, before moving to fabric sourcing specially for you and your one-of-a-kind design (her favourite part).
Once a design direction is decided on, you will try your first toile around 3-4 months before the big day, with periodic fittings right up until the wedding to ensure a perfect fit.
